Lynnette has grieved the death of three of her children and credits the victory of her healing to Jesus Christ. She is passionate about sharing restored joy and enduring hope with those who need it.
Jeff writes with a passionate yet conversational tone that makes you feel right at home while challenging you to get up off your butt and do the hard work of chasing dreams.
Today, I’m excited to conduct the first ever Wise Guy Wednesday interview with Jeff.
Episode #32 of the Wise Guy Wednesday series features Ryan Pemberton, a true dream chaser and theology student at the University of Oxford.
Yeah, that’s right. Oxford.
Ryan is a former marketing and public relations professional from the Pacific Northwest who left the States to return to life as a student in Oxford, England, where he now studies Theology. Ryan currently lives with his wife in C.S. Lewis’s former home.
You can read about their journey on their blog, and find more of Ryan’s writing here.
Combining Our Skills With Our Passions
“So, what would you say to me, Ryan?” he asked, this man who was nearly 30 years my elder, and who had already accomplished more than I could imagine. “What should I be doing at this stage of my life?”
Episode #31 of the Wise Guy Wednesday series features Adam Owens, a husband and father (of 4 amazing kids) in Pennsylvania.
Adam blogs at www.adamowens.com and you can follow his mindless chatter on Twitter at @adamandkaren. Without further fanfare, I hope you enjoy this heartfelt story.
You might want to grab a tissue.
Adoption…
After the death of our son Gavin in 2009 my wife and I always knew adoption was going to be a part of how we expanded our family. Specifically adopting children who have special needs.
Our daughter Angela’s adoption was finalized in June 2011, and and we have now been matched with our son Jayden and are in the process of transitioning him out of the medical facility that he has lived in since birth.
As it says on Twitter I am an average dude, husband, father, bad Christian, blogger, MBA grad & cubicle ninja vampire sharing the adventure to becoming great.
So what do you think about lying?
Recently, I was watching Bones and a group of characters were part of a movement called Radical Honesty. The idea is to be completely and utterly honest all the time. Basically taking “honesty is the best policy” to the extreme.
